I had no clue what I was walking into this story, and I am so glad I went in blindly. I kept sniffling and telling my husband, this story just breaks my heart. I was consumed by the darkness and my soul wept for the characters. Their loss felt like my loss. The tears I shared with them. It was a bit of a roller coaster ride, but I was buckled in and read to get to the other side. And bravo to Adrian. He truly loved his wife. It was beautiful. What happens when you try to Live after you feel like your soul died the day your significant other does? I am not sure. But in The Cabin, it paints a beautiful picture of how the sun will rise and bring a brand new day. I love this story. It tore be apart and then at the end, I was at peace. I was smiling! I was happy. The Cabin is not your typical love story. It is about living!! This book deserves more than 5 star!!
