The Sound of Silence has a lot of heartache and does touch upon a sensitive topic, domestic violence. It makes your tear up and wants you to reach out and help Gia. Ethan is just a monster with an addiction for Gia. It’s really a roller coaster with emotions up and down. Derek was our hero of the story, but allowed Gia find the strength she needed on her own time.

The Sound of Silence is dark. It will capture your heart and make you tear up many times. I couldn’t put the book down and read it in one setting. It’s a story that cries to your soul!
