Days … it has taken days for me to get over this book hangover from Swear on My Life. This story has been the book that I have waited for this whole year. 5 Stars does not do this book justice. I would give it 100 stars and then some. This is a story that will have your heart wrenching and tears flowing. My heart ached for these characters bthrough and through.
Harbor and Lark – their chemistry was filled with an electric current like no other. Harbor broke my heart a few times over. I could not understand what he was thinking, especially when I could feel Lark was his person. Lark, she is so strong and I understood her choices to protect herself. The heartache is unbearable and you can feel it through the words. I loved this story.
Swear on My Life will not disappoint. It had the right angst and drama. This story was off the charts. The emotional ride a reader will take on this journey is one that cannot be explained. This book has it all and I love S.L. Scott for bringing these characters alive. #2022BookRec
